Langford Racing started in 2011 competing in Classic Stock Hatch within the 750 Motor Club. We stayed in this championship for two years having a huge amount of fun and success. The Peugeot 205 GTI we used was an ex-championship winning Rallycross car converted for circuit racing.

After the second season Langford Racing took a four year hiatus from competition due to unforeseen circumstances. But in 2016 we returned and to a new championship series, the BMW Racedays Compact Cup and a new car a BMW 318TI. The first year in series was a steep learning curve as we had no experience of this type of car before.

The second year we took a leap forward with the car and enjoyed the racing so much more than the previous year. In 2017 we finished 10th Overall in the driver’s championship. This was a huge improvement from the previous year, we look to continue the progress going forward in the future.

In 2022 we took the steps to move to the highly competitive Mazda MX-5 Championship. In our first event we took pole, our first win and a third at the Snetterton 300 circuit. We would go on to podium again later in the year at the Oulton Park circuit.
2023 looks set to be our most exciting year to date with our aims firmly set at the top of the rostrum.
